We handle the setup, styling, and breakdown—so all you have to do is arrive and enjoy. Each picnic includes: ✔ A fully styled low table setup for 2 - 4 guests ✔ 2 Rattan or elevated seating for comfort (2 floor pillows for additional guest) ✔ Luxe table décor, placemats, napkins & tableware ✔ Charcuterie or food options from our catering partner (with advance notice and additional cost) ✔ Optional wine-style service (you bring the wine—we provide the glasses and presentation) ✔ Coordinated rugs & accent décor ✔ Ice bucket & bottled water ✔ Setup & breakdown included Why book with Events Set Apart? Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy To ensure a seamless setup and premium service, please review our booking and cancellation policy below: Booking Notice Standard bookings require at least 2 days’ notice. Charcuterie add-on packages require 3 days’ notice to order with our partner catering service. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for full rescheduling at no additional cost. Cancellations made within 24–48 hours may be rescheduled for a future date (one-time courtesy reschedule). Cancellations within 24 hours are not eligible for rescheduling or refund due to preparation, staffing, and supply commitments. However, we understand emergencies happen—please contact us directly, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you on a case-by-case basis. Weather Policy In the event of a day-of rain out (not just a forecast), your picnic is fully reschedulable. We monitor weather closely and will reach out to coordinate. Customers are also welcome to reschedule due to extreme heat, wind, or other inclement conditions with notice. Communication All cancellations, reschedule requests, or weather concerns must be communicated in advance by contacting us directly at eventssetapart@gmail.com or 913-303-8795 Security Deposit A $100 refundable security deposit is required for each luxury picnic booking. This deposit is collected at the time of booking and will be refunded within 48 hours after pickup, provided that: All equipment is present; No damage or excessive wear has occurred; Items are returned in their original condition Client Responsibility & Early Departure Policy Clients are responsible for the security and care of all equipment throughout the duration of the picnic. As all setups are placed in public outdoor settings: The client must remain at the picnic site until the scheduled end time to protect against potential loss or theft. If the client chooses to end the picnic early, they must call or text us to coordinate early pickup and allow up to 30 minutes for our team to arrive. Under no circumstances should rented items be left unattended. Any items missing at the time of pickup will be considered lost. Replacement Fees for Lost or Damaged Items If an item is lost or damaged during your rental period, a portion or the full amount of your deposit may be withheld to cover the replacement cost. Fees are as follows: Rattan Chair: $180 each; Picnic Table $150; Decor - varies
